Aneurisms of the splenic artery are diagnosed with greater frequency as incidental findings on cross-sectional imaging. The prevalence was reported between 0.2 and 10.4%. This is the case of a 55-year-old woman who was evaluated for kidney stones, and she was incidentally diagnosed with splenic artery aneurism. Surgical treatment was decided upon, and a laparoscopic resection of the splenic artery aneurism was performed.
