How to perform a laparoscopic adnexectomy

Laparoscopic adnexectomy is a very well-standardized procedure. Its major risk is the injury of the ureter at the level of the infundibulopelvic (IP) ligament. The purpose of this educational video aimed for beginners in gynecological surgery is to describe, in a stepwise fashion, a standard adnexectomy with a special focus on the crucial step of the procedure, which is the skeletonization of the infundibulopelvic ligament, in order to prevent a ureteral injury.
