All materials are evidence-based according to standards required for publications in scientific journals, and references are provided accordingly.
Methods of active, adult learning to achieve learning objectives are used where appropriate, including problem-orientated learning, task-based learning, case-based learning, reflective learning and performance improvement CME.
All contents are free from any form of advertising although sponsored by Medtronic and Karl Storz, two major industrial partners as clearly stated when users want to access: "You have left the educational section of WebSurg and are entering a commercial section."
