Are there any risks to using larger ports with regards to abdominal wall complications?

It is possible to damage the abdominal wall or viscera when puncturing through the infra-umbilicus incision if we are using a larger trocar (the tri-channel trocar with the diameter of 15 mm). Caution must be taken to avoid such complications.
