Laparoscopic splenectomy for splenic calcifications in a lupus patient

This video shows the case of a patient with multiple splenic calcifications secondary to a lupus. No inflammatory syndrome and no renal insufficiency were noted. Normal calcium phosphate levels were observed. Laparoscopic splenectomy is decided upon.
