Interstitial (cornual) pregnancy is a rare condition defined as the implantation of the gestational sac in the proximal part of the uterine (Fallopian) tube inside the myometrium. The vascular anastomosis of the uterine and the ovarian arteries in this region makes surgery a real challenge; consequently, proper planning of the surgical steps is mandatory. This is a surgical demonstration of the management of an interstitial pregnancy using a purse–string hemostatic suture. Techniques and ergonomic principles are clearly outlined.
