Pulley ganglia are quite common, and are usually located at the base of the finger. They are problematic because they involve pain during the tightening of the hand around an object, such as when one is holding a steering wheel. Their excision, if it is accurate and does not lead to iatrogenic injuries, is the best treatment option. This video was captured using the VITOM system from KARL STORZ.
