Dupuytren's disease, described in 1813 by Baron Dupuytren in his posthumous works, is a common disease in white people, causing a progressive retraction of the fingers. Today, surgical treatment is the simplest, most effective and least expensive type of treatment. It is nevertheless difficult and requires extreme surgical precision.
