Schwannoma occurrences in the retroperitoneal space are very rare. The procedure involves complete removal of the schwannoma. A hemorrhage is a serious intraoperative problem in cases where major vessels are situated nearby. We present a case of retroperitoneal benign schwannoma compressing the inferior vena cava (IVC) and the left renal vein (LRV) that was successfully resected using laparoscopy.
