A myomectomy for intramural myoma after intraoperative clipping of the uterine artery is presented. Its aim is to avoid massive bleeding due to uterine incision and fibroma excision using a simple and inexpensive method. The authors use bipolar cautery to outline the incision. They then incise the serosa, down to the myoma’s capsule, with monopolar cautery. No major bleeding appears. With a corkscrew, they manipulate the myoma. During the myomectomy, they use bipolar cautery to control bleeding.
