Cryptorchidism is a common finding in pediatric practice. It is encountered in 21% of preterm male infants, 1.8–4% of all full-term boys, and 0.8% of 1-year-old boys. The proportion of cryptorchid boys with impalpable testes has been reported to vary from 8.3% to 20%. In this lecture, Professor Girolamo Mattioli presents laparoscopic orchidopexy for impalpable testis.
