In this key lecture, Dr. Jesus Castellano provides a review of anatomical landmarks and how final nerve branches arrive to each organ in the pelvis. He also described how these nerves have an impact on function and dysfunction when they are injured or cut. The nerve-sparing approach must be performed as a standard step, as a dissection rule when the spaces are developed in deep endometriosis, but one should be radical in some cases when the disease is involving the nerves, considering that it is better for patient outcome.
