To treat vesicoureteral reflux in children, there are a lot of procedures-- medical treatment most often, and sometimes surgical treatment when repeated urinary tract infections or renal lesions occur. Using laparoscopy, the posterior wall of the bladder is easily approached and vesicoureteral reimplantation according to the Lich-Gregoir technique can be performed. The Lich-Gregoir technique consists in extravesical reimplantation without any bladder opening.
