We report the case of a 55-year old female patient in which a laparoscopic resection of a retrocholedochal cystic lymphangioma is performed. Decision is made to perform a laparoscopic approach using 4 ports placed in the right hypochondrium. The procedure is begun with a duodenopancreatic detachment. The lesion was mobilized carefully in order not to open it. Pathological findings confirm the presence of a cystic lymphangioma without any malignancy. No drainage is used and the patient is discharged on postoperative day 3.
