Instructions for CME credits

CME credits

  1. Participation in each of the self-study activities should be completed in approximately 0.5 to 1 hour. To successfully complete this activity and receive credit, participants must follow these steps during the period from January 01, 2006 through January 01, 2009.
  2. Make sure that you have provided all the necessary data and your date of birth on the registration form. WebSurg and McMaster University, Continuing Health Sciences Education require this information in order to grant credit and issue a certificate.

  4. Read and participate in the educational activity online.
  5. Read, complete, and submit the answers to the posttest questions online. Participants must receive a test score of at least 80% and respond to the evaluation questions in order to receive credit and a certificate.
  6. A transcript or CME log monitors the completed educational activities on WebSurg.
  7. When you are finished, please click "submit".

Certificates

A "certificate" is defined as a record of successful completion of the CME activity. For information on applicability and acceptance of continuing education credit for this activity, please consult your professional licensing boards.
